I already had a full C cup before I had the surgery meaning I had enough breast tissue to completely cover the small implants I got - going under the muscle would have been the wrong choice for me. It’s a VERY common misconception that going under the muscle is the only way to get a good result, however I’ve seen a LOT of boob jobs in my time and my top five favourites were all on girls who already had boobs to begin with and had their implants put over the muscle. Yeah, if you’re completely flat-chested you pretty much have to go under the muscle because otherwise you’re just putting implants under skin and that’s gonna look dreadful, but my surgeon said there was absolutely no way he’d go under with me. Going under the muscle when you already have boobs severely increases the risk of the dreaded ‘double bubble’ or ‘double boob’ problem. Because I have the most natural feeling silicone gel implants and they aren’t pinned down by my pecs, my boobs are very bouncy and squishy and aside from being much bigger, they really aren’t any different to what I had before.
